Landscaping FAQs
Most garden landscaping projects can be carried out all year long in the UK. Obviously the weather can slow things down during the winter months but ultimately it is up to you. If you have children, then perhaps digging your garden up and having landscapers in your garden during the summer holidays isn’t the best idea.
Under normal circumstances, garden landscaping works do not need planning permission or building control notices. It is always worth checking with your local planning department if you are worried. Changing a front garden into a driveway or off-road parking is a different matter so it is definitely worth checking in advance.
This is not a problem at all. Tudor Rose understand the financial costs of a complete landscaping project so we are more than happy to complete as much or as little as you require. Landscaping just one section of your garden, such as extending a patio or creating an outdoor kitchen is perfectly fine with us.
The time required will vary from project to project. Variables such as garden size, complexity of design, material availability, access to the garden and the good old English weather will all affect the time needed to complete your project.
Our Landscaping team will not need access to your house at all. Provided there’s access to a water tap and an electrical supply, then our team will be self-sufficient.
We can also arrange for a portaloo to be delivered to site if there are no nearby facilities. Our team make their own arrangements for food and drink but obviously the odd cup of tea is greatly appreciated!
